Description:
Our 7th annual blood drive in Radnor will pay tribute to a true hero. Captain Matthew LeTourneau, a Delaware County native and Philadelphia firefighter who died in the line of duty in January, was a regular donor at our blood drives. As an instructor at the Delaware County Emergency Services Training Center, he trained firefighters from numerous departments, including Radnor Fire Company. We are privileged to be spearheading a powerful tribute campaign in Cpt. LeTourneau's memory on May 8, when blood drives around our region will honor his courage, his kindness, and his unwavering commitment to saving lives. Donors everywhere will be able to participate by posting a photo of themselves donating blood with the hashtag #GiveBloodToHonorMatt. For every pint of blood collected, a donation will be made to an organization that provides support to first responders during disasters. Schedule a donation appointment at www.chablooddrive.org or 1-800-RED-CROSS (mention sponsor code "CHAMemorial"). Please join us to pay tribute to Cpt. LeTourneau and honor the heroism, sacrifice, and courage of all first responders!
